The social programme of the Congress is an important part of the event itself. It creates the opportunity for delegates from different countries to talk together outside the busy scientific sessions! In a laid back atmosphere, new relationships begin and old friends meet.

Transportation provided at the end of the cocktail from the Barceló Hotel to the Congress official hotels. Included in the registration fees for participants (Package A and C). Spouses are welcome at the end of the coktail from a participation fee of € 25 / £ 23,50.

Christ Church College
Christ Church is the largest college in Oxford funded in 1546 by King Henry VII; it is the only college in the world with a cathedral within its walls. Amongst a long list of famous members and students of the college was Lewis Carroll the author of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’. Visit the great hall, the quadrangles, the cathedral and grand staircase to discover the inspiration for this famous children’s’ story. Christ Church was also the setting for `Hogwarts’ in the Harry Potter films. Enjoy a refined dinner in this magic and elegant Oxford landmark.

Oxford University Museum of Natural History
The Oxford University Museum of Natural History was opened in 1860 specifically to house the University’s scientific collections of zoological, entomological, geological and mineralogical specimens. The Regius Professor of Medicine and his department had rooms along with other scientific departments, all of which have grown into their own buildings over the last 150 years. The Museum is now a Grade I listed building, renowned for its Victorian neo-Gothic architecture and details. The main court is tall and light with a glass roof, which is where the evening cocktail reception will be held amongst the dinosaurs and other displays!
