Oxford, city of the “Dreaming Spires”, welcomes you for the ISCFS XIIIth Biennial International Congress and associated Distraction Symposium. VENUE AND DATES

The ISCFS XIII Biennial International Congress and Distraction Symposium will be held from Saturday, September 26th to Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 at the Barceló Hotel the city’s newest and most well-appointed four-star conference venue, ideally located approximately 2 miles from the colleges and museums in Oxford’s historic centre.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

Organised by an International Society, the official language of the congress is English.

BADGES IDENTIFICATION

A named badge will be provided with your registration documents upon arrival at the Barceló Hotel. For security and regulation process, the wearing of the badge is compulsory at all times both inside the Barceló Hotel and at all socials events organised within the context of the Congress.

CME CREDITS

EACCME

The ISCFS XIII Congress and Distraction Symposium have applied to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the CME activity for medical specialists.

The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS); you may find more information on their website: www.uems.net

 

The meeting attendees will be informed by the Congress Office, after the meeting, on the EACCME reply to the application. Should the meeting be granted accreditation, they will be sent a certificate stating the number of hours / CME gained.

 

FRENCH CME

The meeting will provide in total 28 credits in category 1 according to the registration attendance rules. This accreditation is certified by the Collège Français de Chirurgie Plastique, Reconstructrice et Esthétique (CFCPRE).

 

PRESENTERS DISCLOSURE OF POTENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

The ISCFS and DISTRACTION SYMPOSIUM Organising Committee requires that all presentations be as free of commercial bias as possible and that any information on commercial products or services be based on already generally accepted medical thinking. It is also preferred that generic drug names be used wherever possible and that any presentation referring to unlabelled or research-associated commercial products should disclose this situation to session attendees/on posters display.

LUNCHES AND BREAKS

Lunches, morning and afternoon breaks are included in the registration fees according to the participation package you have selected. They will be served in the conference venue area and exhibition hall.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

The ISCFS and MCI cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of Congress proceedings arising from political, social, health or economic events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control. The congress cancellation conditions shall apply in any case. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of the cancellation conditions.

 

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health, accident and cancellation insurance before they depart from their countries. The ISCFS and MCI as organizers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to congress participants and accompanying persons either during or as a result of the Congress or during all tours and events.
